Garden of Remembrance and Memorial Wall

Remember someone special at the Manston History Museum Memorial Garden

The Manston History Memorial Garden is situated within the beautiful and tranquil grounds of the museum. The garden is dedicated to all those who selflessly devoted their lives to their country. No matter how long they served and regardless of in what capacity. It is open to everyone, including:

  • Serving and ex-serving personnel
  • The families of ex-serving personal
  • Anyone who shares the ethos of the RAF or Services

How to remember a loved one

If you would like to celebrate the life of a person or organisation associated with any service, you can place a personalised memorial cross or plaque in the garden.

For more information about our Memorial Garden and ways you can remember a loved one, please contact us directly via phone: 01843 825224

For £10, a cross or plaque (8×4) with a personalised message may be placed in the garden for one year. After this time, you may choose to renew your memorial annually for £15 per year. The message can be refreshed if required and will be laid in the garden for another 12-month period.

All donations gratefully received through our Garden of Remembrance will help continue to support the opening of the museum for future generations.

Dig For Victory

allotments

We have a “Dig for Victory” community garden project where we hope to grow our own produce to use in the café and offer surplus to the public for donations to re-invest into future crops. We are also accepting any volunteers who would like to assist us in growing our garden.
